Interior design is not only about designing. It is also about marketing. Marketing Interior Design book author by Consultant Lloyd Princeton will guide you to market yourself as an interior designer to get a client not just from the inside of your boundaries but also outside your usual social circle. He will direct you from the basic step which is to know your potential self & your ideal client.

Next, it's about your business, surely there are a lot of things you can not miss. Every single things is important and it is always start from the basic where you need to have a quality brand. I know that nowadays branding is so much easier with the help of graphic designer but you also need to know how that can affect your business especially in interior design business. Other interesting things that he pointed out is networking. How he delivered this topic in this book is very right to the point and he also gave more option so that you can follow it easier and successfully but with the additional on your own confident.

Assume that you already good in business, you will get to have the clients. In this step, Mr. Lloyd will still guide you from the very first interview until you prepare the contract for them. It also include the advice of how you can increase the society's interest with your design. At the last part, he provides such a case study and first handy story that covers the good and also bad way of marketing which maybe you can reflect on if you have done some.

For me, this book is good for all interior designer whether a newbie or expert. He uses all the simple language that easy to understand and practice. It really helps to be more prepared when someone wants to open their own Interior Design business. All of his advice and direction is like a chain where someone need to do it by order as what he pointed out from the first chapter until the last. What's more is that the way he thinks is not conventional as it can be easily applied in this current development.

"It is easier to aim higher & accept less than to aim lower & always wonder if you could have been and done more."

Lloyd Princeton
